Ritualist Hero - Guild Wars Forums

I want to get the Ritualist Hero, but I have a problem. I am a PVE solo player. I am poor like most people and cannot afford to buy the gems needed to access the quest. I would love to explore the DOA and collect the gems, but since I solo I really will never have a chance with only 3 heroes. l would have AFK here and there and I would not want to piss anyone off. My question is if I take my character from PvE to the Arenas and earn the 6000 Faction to buy this hero. Would I be able to take him back to PVE? And would the Hero be accessible for all my characters from then on in PVE? Any other suggestions on how to get him?

Sadly no, anything unlocked with Balthazars faction can only be used for PvP or your heroes. The only way to unlock the rit hero is through the gems and quests. If you still choose to unlock him through with faction all of your PvP characters can use him.

I know of many people in your situation. Even if you do have time like I do you still have to find a group. Finding a Group can take hours or even days in itself.

For some reason ANET did not account for player class bigotry or time consideration in setting the conditions for acquiring the ONLY Ritualist HERO.

Basicaly you'll have to take the same path my Dervish did, fork out 200k for the gems and solo the quest to get your rit hero.

The quest it self is Master Difficulty, ive yet to see any reason for the Gems to be a part of the quest at all.

Anet should drop the Gem req portion of the quest and just have the quest only active to people that reach the Gate of Anguish.

I learned this lesson after spending the 6k faction... bleah. Oh well, I wasn't spending it on anything anyway. :P

I have 3 characters that have Razah and 10 that don't. The ones that don't have Razah I make either Sousake or Zhed an E/Rt. He has the benefit of the larger energy pool but loses the Spawning Power. It works for me. Usually for the heros I run I use and Mo/*, E/Rt and an N/Mo (healer, rit, and mm). That way I get the benefit of the spirits plus the minions.
